Old Business

Diane Mozzo welcomed our new members: Betty Schmidt, Janet Cook, Susan Hohman, Diane Root, Anne Glenning, Winnie Piriano, Tina Cortese, and Cathy Solarski.

Diane Mozzo explained the Federation Organization founded in the late 19th century to fill the need of women who wanted to have a way to express themselves, and then how it relates to individual clubs within the Federation and its goals. She listed the other clubs in the Southern District and that they meet 4 times a year.

The American Home attendance has dropped lately, and Diane Mozzo would like to revive interest. She would appreciate suggestions from members to discuss at the May General Meeting. The American Home is a department within the Colony Club.

New Business

Since the current Board agreed to remain in office for next year, there will not be an
installation at the May meeting. Diane Mozzo said she invited Mary Ellen Cropper—the Southern District Vice President—to attend our meeting. The executive board will serve as hostesses, and this will be an Ice Cream Social. It was suggested that those members with the Colony Club shirts with logo wear them that evening.

The Country Shores is having a Designer Bag Bingo night April 28th.

The meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
